Driving In Bad Weather

Traveling in bad weather should be avoided if possible, but if traveling is necessary. Check that your vehicle is in good shape and capable of the trip you are about to take. Also check your fluids and gas up if necessary. Then it is wise to leave early or travel in day light hours if possible. Travelling in the day light is good because you want to travel in the best visibility as possible. Slow your travel speed down so if you need to make a sudden stop you can. Pay attention to surroundings and try to observe the condition a head of you in case you need to make a detour. Listen to the radio is good just in case a route you are considering taking is jam with traffic or close you can take another route.
